The folding staircase is 24″ wide when folded down from the wall. When not in use, the gas spring hinges allow the staircase to fold up against the wall with ease and control.
Choose from durable Baltic Birch, sleek Prefinished Baltic Birch, or sustainable Bamboo to complement your interior design. Assembly is a breeze, with predrilled holes, and all necessary hardware included. Just a drill and stud finder are required!

Veritas Living Co. Stairs Disclosure Agreement
1. Intended Use
These stairs are designed for general-purpose use and are not guaranteed to meet your specific state’s structural or code requirements. The customer is responsible to verify compliance with local regulations and ensuring suitability for their application.
2. Customer Responsibility
Proper assembly, installation, and securing of the stairs are the sole responsibility of the customer. Veritas Living Co. is not liable for modifications, incorrect assembly, or improper installation.
3. Risk & Liability
By purchasing, the customer assumes all risks and releases Veritas Living Co. from liability for any injury, damage, or loss due to misuse/unsafe use, improper installation, or exceeding weight limits.
4. Weight Capacity
These stairs have a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs. Exceeding this limit can lead to structural failure and injury.
5. Environmental Considerations
Exposure to extreme moisture, heat, or corrosive substances may affect durability and safety. Customers must ensure the installation environment is suitable.
6. Installation & Maintenance
Professional installation is recommended. Customers opting for self-installation accept full responsibility. Regular inspections are advised to ensure structural integrity. Assembly manuals or videos are provided for guidance.
7. Pricing & Payment
Quotes are valid for 30 days. A non-refundable $575 deposit is required for technical drawings, which will be applied to the final balance. One design revision is included; additional revisions incur fees. Production begins upon full payment. Design changes may alter the final cost.
8. Returns & Warranty
No returns accepted. Any damage during shipping must be claimed with the carrier.
9. Cancellation Policy
• Within 3 days of purchase: Full refund.
• 4-7 days from purchase: 50% deposit refund.
• After 7 days from purchase: No refund.
A 5% handling fee applies to all cancellations.
10. Shipping & Insurance
It is imperative that you inspect the package immediately upon receipt, both externally and internally, to ensure no damage has occurred. If you notice any damage, such as dents or holes, please take multiple photos before opening the package to further inspect its contents. In the event of damage, we will file a claim and send you replacements as soon as possible. However, please note that Veritas Living Co. cannot be held responsible for any loss or delay of shipment caused by the shipping or freight company. Any grievances regarding shipment loss or delay must be addressed directly with the respective carrier.
By completing the purchase, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this disclosure statement.
