Veritas Folding Loft Stairs
The Folding Loft Stairs are a smart, space-saving solution for small living spaces, lofts, and lofted beds. Their sleek, wall-mounted design folds neatly against the wall when not in use, offering a stylish and practical alternative to traditional stairs or ladders.
Designed to improve accessibility while maximizing floor space, these stairs bring together safety, functionality, and a refined modern look. Whether used in a tiny home, studio, office, or loft space, they provide a clean and convenient way to access elevated areas without sacrificing valuable room.
Material:
- Made from high-quality, 1” thick cabinet-grade wood.
- Baltic birch: Best for painting or staining.
- Bamboo: Can be left natural or sealed as desired.
- Prefinished birch: Ready to install.
Dimensions:
- Base models: Available from 4 ft to 10 ft tall, in 6-inch increments. Stair length depends on the height selected.
- Custom sizing available: Staircases can be designed to fit your exact height and length requirements. Enter your dimensions in the form below, and refer to our measurement diagram to ensure accurate measurements for your custom stair design.
- Width with railing: 24″ wide when folded down from the wall.
- Width without railing: 26″ wide when folded down from the wall.
- Width when folded: stairs protrude approximately 2″ off wall.

- When not in use, the gas spring hinges allow the staircase to fold up against the wall with ease and control.
- Assembly is a breeze, with predrilled holes, and all necessary hardware included. Just a drill, level and stud finder are required!

Heaven was super helpful in creating the stairs to provide access from the new basement into the old part. She and her team engineered an amazing solution which provided a large landing to safely access the side-entry point. The bamboo is gorgeous and it fits in perfectly. My contractor tweaked it a bit by adding a handle to help me open/close it and added a plank at the base of the legs to keep them steady when in motion. He also built a ledge, as Heaven suggested, for the legs to rest on when the stairs are closed. I wish I needed more!
